It means The Trial may be PD now, but could lose that status. GATT is the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, a multilateral treaty intended to help reduce trade barriers between signatory countries and to promote trade through tariff concessions.

Hey Bill,

Oh, I see. So basically the PD status is in dispute and until it's resolved, no film.

Well that sucks. Didn't know other countries could affect the PD status of a film inthe US. Then again, it was somewhat of an international production...
